Abstract: This study investigated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the social skills of fifth-year Occupational Therapy students at an institute professional Chilean, a context marked by the transition to virtual mode and then the return to face-to-face. The critical issue lies in the deterioration of essential skills such as communication and empathy due to confinement, with consequences on their professional performance during internships. The main thematic axes are mental health post-pandemic, the development of social skills in occupational therapy, and institutional responses to the crisis. To address this, an exploratory and cross-sectional quantitative methodology was used. Data collection included dichotomous surveys of students and evaluative surveys of clinical tutors, administered digitally. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify trends. The main result was the finding of insecurity and difficulties in interacting with users and colleagues, as well as a decrease in proactivity. The main conclusion is the need to implement strategies for psychoemotional support and reinforcement of social skills in professional training post-pandemic to ensure quality care in the health area.

Abstract: The objective of this study is to explore the evolution of the administrative structure through a comparative analysis of its main paradigms. Unlike reviews that are limited to a linear description of theories, this work addresses a knowledge gap by offering a structural analysis that deconstructs each model into its essential components. A qualitative methodology with an interpretive paradigm was used, along with the technique of documentary and bibliographic review, which allowed for a deep comparative analysis. The main finding is that the evolution of paradigms is not a simple succession, but a process of adaptation and accumulation of complexity, where each model integrates and redefines the structural elements of its predecessors. In conclusion, modern management has transcended the rigidity of a single model to become an epistemology of hybridization, where successful leaders eclectically synthesize the components of each paradigm to design dynamic and adaptable organizations for uncertainty.

      <title>Addressing the challenges posed by energy poverty in Latin American countries</title>
      <link>http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/1935</link>
      <description>Title: Addressing the challenges posed by energy poverty in Latin American countries
Authors: Amaro, Nelson; Leal Filho, Walter; Begum, Halima; Rampasso, Izabela; Pires Eustachio, João Henrique Paulino
Abstract: Many of the energy systems functioning across the developing world are poorly designed and largely inadequate to meet&#xD;
a country’s commercial and domestic energy needs. This is especially so in Latin America, where poverty trends have been&#xD;
exacerbated by limited access to energy, which could be used towards supporting industrial and small-scale commercial&#xD;
activities. This has characterised the widespread trend of energy poverty. This phenomenon poses a major barrier towards&#xD;
achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addressing climate change, since lack of access to reliable&#xD;
energy generation systems hinders the development of economic activities and limits the comfort of living conditions.&#xD;
This paper reports on a study aimed at catering to a better understanding of the challenges related to energy poverty in Latin America and identifying some of the tools that may be deployed to address them. The methodological procedures&#xD;
used were bibliometric analysis and survey. The main findings of this research evidence that reducing energy poverty&#xD;
in Latin American countries is crucial to alleviating household costs since a considerable part of family income is used&#xD;
to pay the energy needs. Less use of coal, greater access to electricity—including those from renewable generation—as&#xD;
well as the use of technologies and programs subsidized by governments would significantly contribute to increasing&#xD;
the Latin American citizens’ quality of life and achieving the SDGs.
